• Motor Vehicle Accident patients please bring insurance information regarding the accident.
• Workers Compensation patients please bring your case worker’s information and company insurance information.

Depending on the diagnosis, you may want to wear loose fitting clothes or bring shorts and a t-shirt.

This will depend on the type of insurance you carry. We should be able to tell you by the end of your first appointment.

If you are a Medicare/Medicaid patient, yes, we will need a referral from your primary care or specialty physician prior to treating you for physical therapy. If not, both Iowa and Nebraska are “direct access” states meaning that we do not need a script or referral in order for your insurance to pay for the therapy.

Your initial visit is a 45-60 min evaluation time. A complete and thorough examination will be conducted to develop a compressive treatment plan for you. Your care, diagnosis, and prognosis will be discussed before you leave for the day, and follow up appointments will be scheduled as necessary.

The physical therapist will be able to tell you after your first appointment, but typically our treatments vary any where from 1-20 + visits depending on your particular case.

Noticeable changes can happen in your first visit, though it may take more visits if you have a more chronic problem.
